I think you need $15,000 to open a Profunds account.Rydex is about $25,000. Here are some telephone numbers.

You can buy/sell Rydex funds through an E*Trade account. No minimun, no commission charged by E*Trade. Buy/sell orders must be placed before 4M mkt. close, and prices are posted/updated 2 hrs. or so after mkt. close in your E*Trade Portfolio.
