HI Mish...in regards to short numbers, I wouldn't place any decisions just because of a high or low short interest. First of all, those short ratios are a monthly number, which I think are announced on every month the 20th so they could be nearer to accuracy of what you state. But more importantly, there are those who would maybe look at the short ratio comparison of the those two stocks and choose SLMC, in the contrarian viewpoint that most of the time those numbers tend to signify the "too" many followers and they are bound to get squeezed out of their positions. I guess it falls within your strategy of analyzing call and put ratios and using the contrarian viewpoint of such ratios. Who knows.....at this point its anybodys guess.

Your call... but first of all, the short position is falling and second of all, a good portion of the stock is in insider hands - the short postion is probably only a hedge in this case (check out the float vs shares outstanding) - also check out the earnings on this and the est)

it looks good both technically and fundamentally
