I wrote previously about my problem with a thunderstorm which damaged my modem card.After having my local computer store install a new Agere(Lucent) modem,I am having slowness and lots of "this page can not be displayed".I have already changed three telephone numbers to get better connection,but this has not helped.I asked if this modem was a good quality modem,and was told it was.
This is very frustrating.

What is my problem?
