Hi Terry,

If the dollar's decline resulted in foreigners repatriating their money - why would it not also be seen in the bond market?

Bonds have been bid up to recent new lows to such a degree that some are even projecting the fed to drop rates AGAIN and at 40 year lows.

To me this is a disconnect.Our dollar dropping to parity with the Euro puts us on a level playing field and that makes us the first engine of growth out of the recession.

Ditto to Japan - except they're intervening to just stop the recession - growth is just a hope there.

I think we see a flow of funds in general out of the equity markets into safety of bonds.

With a general awareness of manufacturing health continuing,that transferred money will find equities quick enough and albeit at nicely higher price levels than now.
