Thanks for the follow-up- my introductory gfy i hope you took
as an informal shorthand and not as personal affront. My point
remains, blame on the victims of the fiasco is misplaced.
You can't expect investors to have taken accounting but it
should be enough that there are many thousands of
accounting professionals involved in the markets to
discipline the widely held public companies.

Most chemists have less than a complete understanding of
atomic physics but they rely on the findings of
specialists and build on that.
