Wave... personally, I believe I am being careful by remaining long in the big three explorers in my portfolio. Would you want to be selling Western Copper, Eldorado or Cumberland knowing that we are in the middle of drilling season? All three of these companies are developing projects with huge reserve potential.

My thoughts here, are these companies will be driven much more by PR than by the POG - at least that's what I'm hoping for. :)

Regards,
Frank P.

Hey Wave.

I think I am speaking from personal experience. I am a terrible trader. But I think you are not fully understanding my posts either. You have to sell sometime! I took profits in MFL, CBD and BAY. Out of BAY now.

However I reentered MFL and CBD too soon with the way markets are going. Probably should have never sold them in the first place!

Trust me I will sell if the bottom falls out and still come out ahead.

I happen to think we are in a bull market. That being said, everytime I exit a stock that I have held for a long time for a double or more, when I reenter it I am at risk because I have just reentered the stock at the current price. This means I must pay close attention to the price and be prepaired to exit if need be. This is close to trading and a pain in the ass as I have to work for a living too and spend too much time watching the stocks.

I hear what you are saying, all I can say is that ST trading does not work for me. I am a LT trader. It is crazy to buy any of the stocks I buy with the idea I will come back in 10 years to see how they are doing. this is not want I am talking about.

I took my profits about a month ago now. Reenter with some stocks too soon, but they are good ones and I do not intend to sell them unless POG goes lower.

Hope that clears things up a bit. Lot of negativity on SDII towards PM's right now and VT is buying. Positive IMO.
