That's very clever. Note how it tiptoes around the truth - that the PLO did not fire rockets on Israel during the year leading up to the invasion of Lebanon. The PLO adhered to the cease-fire, despite thousands of Israeli violations. It is silly to even suggest that the Palestinians were firing rockets into Israel during this cease-fire. If they were, then why did Israel seize on the two other incidents (Israeli jeep runs over land mine in Lebanon & arch-enemy of PLO attempts to assasinate Israeli diplomat in England) as excuses to bomb Lebanon? Message 16223114 the PLO had made life in northern Israel intolerable, Again, this highlights the level of collective neurosis that is so characteristic of Israel and its supporters. Around 100 Jews died as a result of PLO raids from Lebanon between 1967 and 1982. During this time period, Israel was destroying the Palestinians' entire society with its military occupation of the West Bank. They were making the Palestinians "live like dogs", as Moshe Dayan put it, with the desire that they would become discouraged and leave. Tom
