I'm glad to see it. I do think we need to see some details regarding revenue; otherwise, we're in another hold pattern while the company performs those tasks. We have been in that limbo before and it often doesn't pan out after the waiting.

Well done, Larry. But let's instill some confidence with some facts and figures.

Just picked this off the Internet;
has anyone seen it yet?
It is listed as an Air Force Project

Title: Development of a Hyperspectral Automatic Target Recognition System

Non-Federal Participants: Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA; Earth Search Sciences Inc., Arlington, VA; and Broad Spectrum Optics.

Program Description: The amount of information that can be derived from a suite of various imagery products can significantly enhance the quality, detail, reliability and confidence of analysis. The objective of this effort will focus on correlation of the informational content of these various datasets so that only objects of interest will be further interrogated. The goal is to design and build an intelligent (semi)automatic image correlator that allows for discrimination and identification of object materials from hyperspectral & multispectral scenes.

Expected Military Application(s): ISR Deficiencies (AC2ISRC):
- Priority 16: D-302 - Lack of a robust capability to produce situational awareness information.
- Priority 18: D-207 - Lack of production capability to support all source intelligence.
- Priority 20: D-505 - Insufficient capability of ISR collection systems to support operational target assessment requirements.
Benefits of HIS- HSI provides the capability to detect, identify, and track tactical and strategic targets as it has the potential to defeat Camouflage, Concealment, and Deception techniques, perform foliage penetration, and detect vehicle fumes as well as thermal signatures.
- HSI can distinguish subtle landcover differences and thus characterize battlefield terrain for trafficability analysis.
- HSI has potential to detect, identify, and quantify hazards such as chemical weapons in the air and on the battlefield.

Expected Commercial Application(s): It is expected that the two main commercial applications for these items will be forest inventory and law enforcement. This technology will provide mapping services for various governments and industrial companies. Such services are the normsince commercial customers do not want to invest in the sensors themselves. Images could then be sold over the internet. This technology will also provide surveillance services to law enforcement agencies. If market studies warrant the investment, develope a new hyperspectral sensor which would be significantly smaller and less expensive. These sensors would be available for sale to law enforcement agencies for their own use.
