Archival quality printers are out there, Red.

A food photographer I work with is more deeply involved, than he is with advertising, making "Art Prints". They come out of a large format printer that uses archival inks. While there's no documented evidence of actually how long these prints will last, as long as its in digital format, one can always do a new print.
