TPaul, golds have been behaving very strangely
last week they actually decoupled from currencies
word was floating around that perhaps the dollar had gone too far in its quick breakneck decline
also was word that Central Banker action would foil the goldbugs
with the gold at #314 now, I think goldbugs are watching
they are giving up more ground just yet

the PPTeam has only limited weapons in their arsenals
they rely mainly upon fear

did Soros say 30% from current levels?
to 75-77 ???
or 30% from its top of 120?
to 84-86 ???

the GoldEagle article I posted earlier points to 80-85 target
I see 100 as a resting point for dollar
that should coincide with $1.03 or so for euro
this is gonna get WILD WILD WILD later this summer and autumn

I think the gold guys know very well the detrimental effects of the declining and lower dollar
I make that distinction clearly
first we have a lower dollar
second we have a declining dollar

I heard a great analogy about position and movement
if high on a ladder, you may want to get off
but there is considerable pain if you fall off
it is good to be on the ground level
but not if you fell off
that is the way the dollar effect is felt now
I made this point to GregM (Boplicity) last month
the pain is in the movement
just like moving from high pressure high temperature in weather
to moderate pressure moderate temps
the transition brings storms, thunder, lightning, downed power lines
