I'll bet you can't find a company that doesn't opt to slip payments to vendors or reassign selected costs to other categories to move the numbers to their favor. I've even seen some delay receipts customers to offset poor sales expected the next quarter. It is extremely easy to move the numbers and it is not illegal. Everyone does it!
