Athens.... Great ! perhaps a re-start of all sporting activity (as in 1896 in the first Olympics)... too bad about being a zoo. Like major cities throughout the world I think it is the same scenario... overpopulation... :(

Perhaps.. the way to do the Olympics would be to go to the port where they'll have the yacht races or the rowing events (usually the locations are really nice and isolated (relatively) from the big crowds of the main events... track & field, swimming and so on.

Doing it this way one gets the advantage of joining in in the Olympic atmosphere, which it is truly awesome, and yet somehow isolated from the crowds. One can also watch many of the events in local tv... of course... all these in Greek -g

2010 That will be an event to be for sure... talk about a forever carnival... !
