The only other guy who listened to me (besides my bro) was a coworker who started working at my firm in 10/00. At first he thought I was completely off my rocker. Over time and quite a few conversations, though, he realized it was true, and lightened up on his exposure to a lot of clownish stuff (including Enron, Tyco AND WCOM...dude was selling nekkid poots on all three at one time! Though he usually preferred covered calls....) He even started dabbling a bit in gold, and landed on his feet. So it's not hopeless, but if someone won't listen, it's pointless.
