In a recent post I said that I followed 19 semi-equips in a Yahoo portfolio and that I would recommend against investing in 2, SFAM and UTEK.

I have listed the 19 below. At the time I placed each in my Yahoo portfolio, I considered the company of good quality and I thought it likely I might invest in it. I have reduced the number of semi-equips I am buying from 8 in 1996 to 4 now. In addition to the 4, I own shares in or have owned shares in ASYT, CMOS, EGLS, LRCX, and UTEK. I am inclined to also recommend against an investment on EGLS, but the case against them is not as strong as the other 2.

AMAT ASML ASYT BRKS CMOS COHU CYMI DPMI EGLS
ESIO KLAC KLIC LRCX NVLS SFAM TER UTEK VECO
