my broker SSB just got pissed off because Ive been paying less then 1 cent per share. I traded almost 1.5 million shares this year and paid a 3/4 % commish. Hedgies pay more then I -g-

I'm down around .3- .4 all added up. But I've got a lot in my accounts. Also, I trade hundreds of thousands of shares of Canadian pennies [gold], so it's really been a major winner for me. <I was surprised that MER was unwilling to negotiate on the commission structure. From what my broker tells me, I am his only client who is making money in this market....the rest are following Merrill's LTBH strategy. > Me too... although this stuff is expensive [execution & overhead].
