It's easy to be an atheist, it's not so easy to be a highly visible atheist.

I said earlier in this discussion, when we were discussing photos on drivers licenses, that you have to wonder about people who take on these issues. I would phrase that differently. It is rational to be an atheist but it takes a nut to want to make a spectacle of himself over it. Sadly, that doesn't exactly elevate the public perception of atheists.
