So you've done a little search and found that other semiconductors besides silicon can be used as solar cells...but can you dispute my contention that at least 90% of solar cells being made today are made of silicon? If the toxic chemicals used to produce semiconductors bothers you and we follow your advice, we'd be back in the 19th century? Stick to your Linux and leave the process technology to people who know what they're talking about....
