I like your thinking, I just shorted MO to good advantage, plus Ford and Verizon but am looking for more.
(Ford may be very slow, but I have Sept option).
Was considering Csco or AOL, but IBM sounds just as good.
The AOL concept has been very clear, just buy competitors, get everyone signed up and then raise the monthly fees. Without raising fees they face disaster, but now combined with TW the company is too complex for me to understand

Shorts I have or am trying to get are VZ,F,JPM,C
I would expect the market to go temporarily up as people return after the 4th Holiday - might be a good time
to buy puts.
