EDS is taking a lot of heat from what looks like a perfect storm of negative events. There is really nothing fundamentally wrong with EDS or its proven business model but the perfect storm even has the WSJ writing an article that big deals (ie like WCOM contract) may be bad deals. Panic selling has set in and the shorts are throwing gas on the fire. It's difficult to predict where it will end but end it will and if there is any respect left for NYSE listed companies then EDS will recover over time and at a rate that exceeds the worldwide rates of economic growth.

As for Richard Brown, I don't know what to believe except that he is an ex-Marine and in the Marines, everyone carries a rifle including the cooks so I would expect some emotional discontent to be part of the mix. From a stockholder standpoint, everything I see and hear about him is positive.

Long on EDS too hell with the shorts!!

Yawn. Time for the letter writer to move on. This reads like the "how come Ross Perot never calls ME" letters from the seventies.
