This contains an oddity. In it, the words 'Oriental' is proscribed, with 'Asia' substituted; and the phrase 'Spanish Americans' is changed to 'Hispanics.' (These have been standard usage now for years so the law sounded a little odd as it was anyway.)

The oddity is that as long as they were doing this, why did they leave 'Eskimos' instead of substituting 'Inuit'?

Maybe they just didn't know.
