Shennanegans at Sun Microsystems:

I hope they don't discover any "Creative Accounting" problems at SUNW. I hope that the firing of Lehman was not a sign that there was something untoward going on on his watch. I don't believe that the majority of companies out there were any was as crooked as companies with the CFO's Sullivan of WCOM and Fasco of ENE. However, though in order to "make" those earnings numbers and "whisper" numbers every quarter, companies have done some "creatuve" and illegal or unethical things. Luckily (or not so lucky for us longs) SUNW has had losses for the last 5 quarters, so it doesn't look like they are involved in the big "cheat" game. But who knows today?

>Is Bush going to throw the book at himself for his illegal Harken Energy trades?<

Read an article about it in today's NYT. This should make Republicrats sweat bullets.
