GVT:You forget that $ is still being created through : Personal earnings (401 K's and the like), profits accruing to the sellers and shorters and borrowing against real estate assets. I believe Trim Tabs when they say this money is festering in an unproductive manner in money market funds on the sidelines. Sure that much in market cap has disappeared-yes into the "winners" pockets as they leave the table. The problem for some of us is as long term holders we never cashed in what we considered were the blue chips.JFD

GVT: WCOM spent that $ somewhere. Those that received in turn saved,invested or spent same. You have a uni-dimensional view of our economy. Your opinion and one's like it are collectively a danger to our markets.JFD
