Crisp fixing fonts in pull downs and menu.
Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (Enigma)
using 7.2 and 7.3 version of redhat with Version v7.1.0g crisp. xig Xserver and FVWM window manager.
Crisp when installed had default fonts selected that displayed top commands bar and pull down menu list with
grey square boxes.

Starting crisp. Crisp may come up with the eval window.
Try First is the center button.

After Crisp is started.
This can be fixed by changing the font to be used in the Screen Settings under the Option commands, fifth from right.

Under options the menu items are

Select Screen setting. In the screen setting select Font Tab.
At the top you can choose fonts for three Crisp areas.
1. Editing Area
2. Dialogs
3. Tables & lists

Dialogs font control the command bar.
Tables & Lists font control the meny pull downs.

For the Dialogs alias-7x14 works
For Tables & Lists alias-3x13 works

Editing area has 7x13bold that I think was the default.

After changing the fonts you have to select OK at the bottom of the Screen settings window. OK is the left most button.
Then Exit Crisp
File Exit that is the next to last selection in the menu.
Last selection is FTP and has |> sub menu indictor.
