war is hell, accidents happen. No one wants or likes that. Many innocents, including our own, get killed by friendly fire. As long as there are wars it will continue to happen.

NO Americans died and it is not wise to shoot rifles in the air in a country where continuing military operations are going on and it very unlucky to shoot rifles in the air in the vacinity of terrorists firing on American troops.

If we increase the defense budget by a factor of 10 to 100, I would say enough resources could be availble in a few years and this kind of sad accident might have been avoided.

If we increase the defense budget by a factor of 1000 I would say enough resources could be availble in less than a decade.

In the current situation, BRILLIANT?

I recommend we go with PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH's current budget.
