My good friend told me that last Monday, I think there was an article in the New York Times. It discussed the power required for some of those NON SGI Uncle Sam Super Computers. Also the story of frying an egg with a CPU that I'd posted several hmmmm.... weeks , months ago made it. It seems this idea of the limitation of power consumption and their impact on computation density are getting some main stream coverage. Thus the SGI mips low power strategy is a good story with legs.

In a market valley of scandal, having a good story is a good thing.
