I regret to inform you that the name "The Headache thread" is under consideration at Beanies. :-)

But I agree about suing Laz!

I have them daily, too, vascular headaches, which are migraines but not the classic migraines that go with vomiting and seeing lights.

"Dulled" by a couple of Exedrins doesn't sound good enough. Have you tried Fiorinal, or, generically, butalbital w/ aspirin and caffeine? It's very, very good. It also comes with codeine.

Imitrex is energy-sapping for me, and the fatigue lasts through the next day, too (well worth it to escape that pain, though), so I usually try butalbital before I go to that.

BTW, everyone who takes aspirin should note that studies have shown that if you take it along with lecithin, your chances of having untoward gastric effects are MUCH smaller. Some chemical thing happens between the two. I read a reference that seemed to imply that it would do the same with Motrin, but couldn't find it later.

So everybody: Lecithin is good for you anyway, so it won't hurt to take it when you take aspirin, and will protect you from intestinal bleeding, ulcers, etc.

I got lecithin "wafers" at the health food store. It comes in granules and capsules, too.

So far my stomach is bothered more by lawyers than it is by aspirin.
Self esteem problem?
