FYIW, despite the all the gloom, I still don't see bk but what the heck do I know. Hey, I bought G*. There are obviously only two possibilities here. One, the street is right and we are going bk or two, this is a screeming buy. If the latter is true, then we should see some insider buying before the end of the 3rd qtr. If we don't then we can only hope that the fss utilization does indeed improve and ssl picks up new orders both of which were implied by BS in today's call. But if insiders don't step to the plate, this stock is toast until it becomes abundantly clear that Lor will be eps positive. The latter is not going to happen for at least 3 more quarters or more.

Funny, I knew G* was speculative but I always thought I could hedge with Loral. I am still hoping that will turn out to be at least partially true.

And last but not least, I had and interesting conversation with someone yesterday inside G* who beleive it or not, is very bullish on the business prospects after the reorg. I can't go into details here but suffice it to say that he convinced me that he is convinced that the reorg G* will be self sustaining. So what? Lor will participate positively in some fashion if that is true. Mr Market appropriately is not giving any credit to that possibility nor did Bernard in today's call and neither should. Bernard would be hanged if he even uttered that possibility and no street investor right now believes there is any hope for G*. But I think it is possible especially if the atc license is approved. How many times has Mr. Market been wrong? A few and I am hoping this is one of them.
