Len, thanks for the fascinating article about quinoa! And who knew how to pronounce it???

I've been seeing a lot of quinoa recipes here and there, and have tried it several times with great success.

I didn't know about the saponin, though. I hope that they're not secretly trying stronger chemical methods to remove it. That does seem to be a bit of a possible concern.

(since I read ahead to Ground Zero's question) yes, it's readily available at my Whole Foods. Like most grains, though, it takes awhile to find it amidst the dozens of bins.
