Agreed......something perhaps like that damn trans-dermal
patch that's supposed to take away my urge for yet
another cigarette so I may live my day to day life as
though I am cheerful and gay, un-adicted to tobacco and
instead picking at the festering sores I have created for
lack of anything better to do with my hands?

Hmm.....

That may be a little too descriptive. Allow me to restate please.

Hey! How about a Pennsaid patch!

As a user of Pennsaid I would agree 100%. But you get used to the drops pretty quick. They are just cold on a sore spot. Poor marketing, IMO.

Anybody know if there is a replacement for Porvalis in UK? Worried I am going to run out!

Mentioned this to my GP and he stated "no problem, we have another topical gel we can give you that uses declefenic(sp)".

So this might shed some light on the sales problem in the UK. Sure wish I had asked the brand name of the other product. My GP is quite willing to perscribe Pennsaid for me, however it is not his first choice. He was aware of the different delivery system but did not seem to see any benefit, or enough, to change products.

CG,

That's a good idea. As you know this is an area that
could stand an improvement.

21st century medical thinking using 24th century technology.
Maybe we could ask Nike to design and build it after the
PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS WITHOUT KILLING A PERCENTAGE
OF THE PATIENTS makes it's name in the sports world.
