Re: Cashin. The most interesting comment was about SnP500 index funds. That was an eye opener.

If such funds get redemptions, there is only selling....and as some of them take loans to meet redemptions but do not get the new inflows......that would lead to intense selling!

My guess is that international investors buy SnP500 index funds. That would be the tendency, just as American buying into Japan/Taiwan or European stocks are likely to buy the index instead of buying a managed fund.

Nasdaq 1100/1200 won't be that hard a target if such trading action is just starting.

like i stated earlier, it all agrees with the Dollar strength today...PPT! Of course, this PPT we all know about,.. FED/European/Japanese central banks...a great "team" effort!

There is too much danger in letting the dollar trade freely since foreign investors' losses get worse with a dropping dollar.
