If the vendor financing gets a shortfall Dontcha think Lucy and Norty would take a haircut to get cash in the bank? The market appears to have valued their vendor financing assets at very little. Of course maybe they would be stubborn and refuse to sell out at a steep discount. Foresight is a rare commodity at LU and NT or they wouldn't be where they are - many of the mgt. types at LU and NT appear to be cum laude graduates of the Bernard Schwartz School of Business. Just think there's an opportunity here for a vulture type outfit to restructure LEAP - we are getting into an environment in telecoms where cash is king - and going through a Chapter 11 may not be a condition precedent to achieving the same economic ends.
