CAN BUSH BE A PRESIDENT FOR ALL THE PEOPLE?

SearchRE,

I was reflecting this morning on the huge mess in the stock market. One of the reasons for this is the PSLRA of 1995. Here's a link to this gargantuan piece of garbage legislation that opened the floodgates of fraud:

Message 17684883

Can you imagine King George writing such a veto message? One designed to protect the average investor from the depredations of criminal CEOs and their various co-conspirators? No? Me either. Bush wouldn't even have batted an eye about signing this destructive legislation. In fact, instead of signing it in the middle of night, like he did the McCain-Feingold anti-bribery bill, Bush would have a celebration for PSLRA as he passed the hat around the crowd of crooks he'd have gathered.

Am I getting lathered?

-Ray
