I seem to recall some talk a couple years back about really deep water port required for the newer ships and the only one would be NewYork. Is there anything to that, and how much closer is Halifax to Europe than say NY or Boston?

I imagine that Hfx might have less red tape and lower labour costs, but not sure?

I'm going to take a closer look at it, I suspect that with all the O&G exploration in the Maritimes it will also be positive for the port..
