nsp... agreed on the SA gold - the government has changed the rules - and companies that have mineral rights on properties that aren't being used (lasting hundred of years?) will lose them -- bad news for the whole sector?

From what I can tell, a lot of juniors have dived into these unused properties - with the majors still having an option if a huge discovery is made. This is the reason for Anooraq's existance in the shadow of Angloplats.

I was saying yesterday that 30% of the shares outstanding of Eldorado Gold are being held by Gold Fields ... yeah, I've got my eye on the underlying commodity - but PR will still drive these explorers.

I'll take my chances, for now... and thanks for the warning.
