Unfortunately the random search concept is for the express purpose of being politically correct. I am very familiar with what the airlines do, how and why. If a grandma has a metal knee and the wand beeps at the knee but no where else, then why a strip search? Countless times, I have observed poor technique by screeners. This looks like another example in Michigan. In some respects the screening job is difficult because it frustrates passengers which leads to confrontation. Hopefully, the new "guvment" will learn to manage the inflow of passengers and better distribute their resources to minimize the impact.
