ADVP Good (and ironic) News -- 11:30 ET AdvancePCS extends contract with state of North Carolina (ADVP) 21.46 +0.06: Announces it has renewed and extended its contract with the State of North Carolina Teachers' and State Employees' Comprehensive Major Medical Plan program; under the terms of the agreement, ADVP will continue to provide services to the state for an additional two years beyond the original date of the contract. (Note, the stock was hit on May 31 when a newspaper reported that the North Carolina plan was in jeopardy due to allegations that ADVP overcharged it.) **** So the contract rumor that sunk it about 5 points a few weeks ago is not only secure but has been extended...lol!
