If you're asking me to call a bottom, that's something I can't and won't do. Right now, INTC is a falling knife, and has been for some time. It's overvalued and is still selling at an unrealistic valuation.

Some day, the stock is likely to be a great buy. I, for one, would initiate a position at 12, maybe a partial in the low teens.

Have a nice holiday.

How can you call it hindsight voodoo? His comment came well before this most recent leg down into the 16's. Furthermore, he had no tactic as I see it. It was an FYI post based on technical analysis. Simply because it doesn't jive with your belief doesn't mean its Voodoo. If you look at that 12 number it doesn't seem out of the question and here is why. I believe 12 would put INTC at about a 20 pe. That seems reasonable for a company that currently is not growing their EPS. In fact....it could even be high. That doesn't impugn Intel nor does it mean its a bad company. It simply means that companies cannot be valued on name recognition. They must have earnings growth as well. While you may not agree with his conclusion don't be so arrogant as to dismiss his logic as if yours was the only opinion that is right.

Since he is predicting the obvious then the world is in agreement that INTC is going down like a 5 dollar hooker. The only question left then would be what kind of yahoo would know that and buy or hold the stock?

RE:"In my opinion, the only way INTC will break 12 is if it becomes the next target of investigation by the SEC. That's not a far-fetched prediction on my part, but that won't stop you from coming back and claiming, "I told you so.""

Look around Tench...the TAers are still here and the buy and holders have dropped like flies at a RAID convention.
I figure the bottom will be in when the Golfers all have to go back to work.
