OTC:BB... Highway robbery...

Remember this post guys. Well I badgered my support guy at the brokerage and this is what he came up with...

I talked to the trading room and they confirmed, with the market maker that his fill was accurate, although it was done out of sequence do to some of the price fluctuations.

Now here is my order information
Buy 5000 GLDR Limit at 1.83, DAY 07-03-2002
Execution Information
Order Received 11:36:23 AM EDT
Execution Reported 12:45:21 PM EDT
Partial fill of 1500 @ $1.83

Now here are all of the executions for the time from before the order was placed until the next price reported after my fill was reported.

Date-------Time-----Price--Bid--Ask---Volume
07/03/02 12:47:24 1.82 1.77 1.82 800.00
07/03/02 12:45:14 1.80 1.77 1.82 1500.00
07/03/02 12:26:09 1.80 1.77 1.85 1000.00
07/03/02 12:25:51 1.77 1.77 1.80 6500.00
07/03/02 12:25:47 1.78 1.77 1.80 1000.00
07/03/02 12:23:24 1.80 1.75 1.86 1000.00
07/03/02 12:23:16 1.80 1.75 1.86 500.00
07/03/02 12:22:38 1.80 1.80 1.86 500.00
07/03/02 10:16:27 1.84 1.84 1.89 2500.00

Now which trade is it that was for 1500 shares price of $1.83 of this lot that could possibly be mine "out of sequence" . The one in italics looks like a candidate, but it was executed for $1.80 not $1.83... and he must have been so busy, getting my trade "out of sequence", as there was one other trade 20 minutes earlier than mine.

Note: There wasn't a single trade reported for the whole day for the price of $1.83.

These MM's treat us like fools; When I finally get this one on the mat I'll bet it's described as a small clerical error!
Why would they bother for $45? Well this is the one I found; think of the hundreds that they can get through because you can't properly check them!
