<i<Ted, <INTC is slashing prices to hold onto share and its killing AMD. Like I said on the Mod thread, in times like these, INTC gets a cold and AMD gets the flu.>

This is the minority viewpoint on the Mod thread. There, they pretend that every time there's a price war, Intel loses more in absolute revenue than AMD, simply because Intel has more to lose. The relative shortfalls in revenue suggest otherwise.

Ten, and the 'bees think AMD is going down for the final countdown. I don't pay much attention to either side. The market facts suggest AMD and INTC are fighting over a smaller turf. Its not good for either one but its much worse for AMD than INTC.

Anyway, I'm no fan of relativism. Looking at AMD only, revenues have dropped by 33% from Q1 to Q2. PC sales surely did not fall by 33% in the same time period, no matter how bad it is out there. There are some real problems going on at AMD, and if I were a shareholder or an employee, I'd want answers.

PC sales did not fall by 33%......AMD has lost share to an INTC who is slashing chip prices at a considerable cost to its ASPs. Why do you think INTC is projecting a Gross Margin of less than 50% for the rest of the year. That would have been unthinkable, and unacceptable, just a year ago.

Meanwhile, Sanders can still find the money to fund his $2.5M ego-trip at his alma mater. This while real engineers either get laid off, or crippled in their ability to work (due to reduced R&D).

I not sure what you this is about. I thought Sanders had pulled back to a Chair position and has limited his role in AMD.
