Yankees Won't Pay For 'El Duque's' Translator
msnbc.com

MIRAMAR, Fla., 6:45 p.m. EDT July 3, 2002 - For five years, the Yankees have paid to have a translator help translate Orlando Hernandez' words into English when he does interviews. But now the Yanks have yanked the translator. The news that the richest team in pro sports had decided not to pay any longer for the player's translator was big news around the Florida Marlins' clubhouse on Wednesday, where some were calling the decision a "slap in the face" to Hispanic players in the league. Can you believe this?

It's about time the CUBAN's who want the American life, learn to speak English.
