Hey Jim - I know I looked at IMAX before, maybe we talked about it on the chat site one day. When you dig into the cash flow statement, you see their operations are making money...but it's all going to pay off the substantial debt, still more than $200 million.

In other words, their debt exceeds their market cap - yikes.

Couple that with negative book value and I will pass. The chart was hot for a while but it's not a stock I would want to hold through a crappy bear market.

Your comment about the F-104 reminds me of tech stocks the past two years:

The F-104, a really cool but dangerous plane that killed a number of pilots before being taken out of service.


Substitute "traders" for "pilots", and stock market bubble for dangerous plane and it fits.
