The p/c is around 1 all day. Somebody is buying puts. (Unless you think it's just bears running for cover.)

It's a bit early, tooearly <g>

On the hourly NQ we've had 20 bars of straight down, now we've only had 5 bars of up. We haven't even had a 38% retrace yet of the move from Friday's high.

Give it until Tuesday at the least. Monday we might rally if there is no terrorism over the weekend when people who sold this week on those fears decides it's "safe" to go back in and "buy some bargains" so to speak.

And I disagree with you when you said the selling had little to do with terrorism. The truth is that we'll never know why people sold, one way or another. Bears will point to lousy fundamentals, warnings, accounting scandals, and all the other bad stuff as to why people are selling, as the bears say to themselves "that's why they SHOULD be selling, anyway." But between now and The Bottom there will be selling for less reasons than than that, as well as rallies for whatever reason, no matter what the cause.
