More than just an intermediate bottom?

It's interesting that there is a pretty solid history of the nas bouncing hard whenever the fed model shows -20%. Maybe the ppt has a standing policy to intervene at those times, regardless of the obvious flaws in the model. It has been consistent with AG's leadership, and he is an admitted fan of the model. And this could explain why the model wasn't very effective back tested prior to 1980, years before AG.

The market action since then confirms my observation that this was like a bell wringing at the bottom.

They are just buying or selling NDX futures.

They better get a stronger bell ringer. He hasn't been able to ding dong three green days in a row for 3 months now. I'll be a clown, puppy dog long until Monday then bank 1/2 my long profits and look for shorts in all the same familar places plus whatever new company gets accounting or earnings fever.
