I'm thinking surface to air missiles, tanks, etc- I don't really think the guns in AMerican closets could beat our military- especially not if the military takeover was packaged well, and I've no doubt that is a possibility. The fact that the rifles in the military are the same as for domestic consumption is not the issue(for me, anyway, although it is kind of scary now that I think about it) - it is the OTHER armaments and the organization. I hope it won't come to the test. I am ambivalent about the 2nd. I am firmly occupying the middle ground on this one.
