"while friendly fire and innocent civilians killed are in the thousands, And as in a video game we just keep blowing pawns without a care in the sky."

Oh my! Got any reliable facts to support that (and many of your other outlandish claims)......... or am I dealing with someone who's emotions, beliefs perceptions dictate his opinions......... regardless of the facts??

"I can try and put my self in any of the scores of people who have nothing to do with the Taliban and Al-Qaida that have lost whole families, loved ones and children, and I can see why people hate Americans."

It's very hard to discuss differences of opinion with folks who allow themselves liberal amounts of leeway with facts......... & also those who can freely micromanage almost any situation with little or no experience, or the need to gain an understanding of the subject matter in proper historical context....... particularly if they have strong political leanings in the first place.

I'm starting to think that this is where this discussion is headed :-|

Quotes from Nicholas Gates' post from earlier today:

Also, just hear a large portion of UK and Middle East are not accepting US dollars as payment…. Do you blame them…US dollar under attack and will probably loose another 32 - 50% before by the year 2008 or so

I am beginning to think that…
- Russia( Oil, Brains and Weapons);
- China ( Mass Market(i.e. people));
- Middle East ( Oil, Money );
- Germany( they understand the game, they are the best at it for the past 60 years, lots of offspring of Nazis still around, they should be around 50 - 55 years of age, about now, blue eyes blonde hair Supermen the Arien Race," Boys from Brazil", get the move from your corner video store and watch it...its real, I met a few in the past);

Have ALL teamed UP.

Looks like a Power shift from one side of the equator to the other for another 50 to 62 years forthcoming.

Its War my friends,… War,….and the US, lost the War around March 15, 2002, yes, 4 months ago.

The US Game is Over!!!!....

"Just Thoughts "

I think he may be right that they will all team up quietly. I don't understand the significance of March 15, 2002....might be some astrogical occurence.<g>

Although I don't agree with some of it such as Russia for weapons...and the part about the shift of power over the equator.<g>
I do see the possibility that such things can happen. It is just the natural way things unfold in history.

The world will team up against the only superpower in the world. If a Chinese government has to award a big contract to either a European or an American company that both are equally capable,which would they pick....My bet is they will prefer the Europeans. That is just too obvious to me.

We just need some "evil empire" to emerge to keep things in balance. That will make America stronger,imho.
Without a Soviet Union out there, it will be tough on the American economy.

OK..I admit some of these views come from a wild imagination but on a certain level they make sense...at least to me. <g>
