Since AMD is not on the NAZ it likely will not have any direct effect on it...

I understand but AMD trades more in sync with the Naz, than the DOW. The point I was trying to make is that there are a number of tech stocks putting in triple bottoms. Even though many of them are not component stocks, I think everything rides on these triple bottoms holding or not, and they will determine whether we have a Naz 1300, or a Naz much >1300 for a low.

Having said all that, most long time investors/traders will agree this is a very strange time in the markets and most anything is possible. So I try to take it one day at a time. I should have joined AA........their philosophy is proving to be handy here. <g>
