retired,

Are you talking about the Canadian wheat crop? The small grains here in the upper central plains states were planted late and are experiencing heat stress. I don't know how the corn and soybeans crops are doing in Ill and Iowa.

One issue is the fed's are saying the small grain exports are down and I do not know how to evaluate this part of the equation.

Wall Street is selling ADM and have not figured out why - yet. IMO at $15 it was expensive, but if they can pull off ethanol requirements for the gasoline additive they should be in good shape. Would not mind if they would take it down in the $8 or $9 range and I could back up the truck again. <g>

retired,

I spent some time going through the commodity charts and the small grains, corn and soybeans have been going up in price. Also good old pork bellies are on their normal summer ramp.

Copper has been going down. I can not find charts on the other basic metals. Can anyone could point me to some of the basic metals commodity stock charts.

TIA,

Joan
