Man, you're making my hair hurt....I don't think I mentioned potential reserves until my last post. You on the other hand have been saying that one only needs to make drilling cheaper to find potential reserves.. If you drill and find oil it is not potential, it is proven. The data the oil industry and the DOE uses, however, may not necessarily include drilling but rather good scientific techniques that provide a high degree of accuracy regarding oil deposits.

Now before I quit for the night do you agree that the oil reserves of the US are quite small vis-a-vis the ME? Do you agree that we are not finding enough new oil to make a significant difference in that picture?
