If they can villainize the most valuable members of our society in this Marxist/Leninist way, they hope to then condemn the Great Satan, George Bush, who has numbered among the hated capitalists, and achieved success in their awful, profit-chasing world. Then the American left's dream will come true, and the people will forget that they are at war, forget about the war heros running the current administration, forget even where their own paychecks come from-and run out and vote for candidates who'd rather pay Saddam for oil than extract it from the frozen wastelands of northern Alaska, who'd continue to rob the productive and successful to pay for exponentially increasing government fraud that empowers-the American left. And all the success of this 'final, desperate offensive', this 'final throw of the dice' depends on is the American public continuing to be as mind-numbed apathetic toward the treason and other crimes of the American left itself as they were during the golden Clinton years. As the characters of the late Al Capp would have said, with their ironic, bumpkin smiles, "Natchurly!". Are the American people really capable of being that stupid for that long? The American left is in for major shocks in 2002 and 2004.
