>>Unfortunately, certain extremists wouldn't stop sending idealistic children to their deaths as suicide bombers, and they succeeded in derailing that initiative.<<

Agree that they may suceed in derailing Abdullah's plan.

Would take strong exception to calling the bombers "idealistic". Misfortunate hateful brainwashed creatures, kept in a state of trance by their criminal handlers, thought to delude themselves with fantasies of pay offs for themselves in haven, and for their parents on earth... that's more like it.

Allen,

The Arab countries signed the agreement, yet simultaneously allow the forces which nourish terrorism to flourish in their own societies.

There will be no peace or progress in the Middle East until the Arabs turn from hatred and oppression, and follow the path of tolerance and freedom. The fastest growing Arab population (by percentage) is in Israel. They move there to enjoy the freedoms not available in other middle eastern countries.

I work with many competent Arab engineers who have chosen to leave their homeland and move to Europe, because the are free to live, worship and speak here.

It's a crazy situation, and as far as I'm concerned neither side is right. Both the Israelis and the Palestinians do nothing but talk about the wrongs done by the other side. Until they grow up and realize that the crimes of one do not justify the crimes of the other, there will be no end to the suffering.

- Allen

Yes, that certainly deserves repeating!
